Q: Will I lose control during hypnotherapy?
A: No – you are always in control. Hypnotherapy is simply a relaxed, focused state where your mind becomes more open to positive change. You remain aware and can stop at any time.
Q: Will I be made to do anything embarrassing?
A: Absolutely not. This isn’t stage hypnosis. Everything we do is ethical, respectful and focused on your goals.
Q: What can hypnotherapy help with?
A: Hypnotherapy can support anxiety, confidence, habits, fears, phobias, sleep, weight management, smoking cessation and more.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: This varies, but many people notice positive changes quickly. We’ll review progress together and move at your pace.
Talking Therapy (Solution Focused Brief Therapy)
Q: Do I have to talk about my past?
A: Not unless you want to. Solution Focused Therapy concentrates on your future, your strengths and what you want to change – rather than going over problems in detail.
Q: What if I don’t know what I want yet?
A: That’s completely okay. We’ll explore this together during your sessions.
Q: How is this different from traditional therapy?
A: SFBT is short-term and practical. We focus on solutions, progress and what’s already working in your life.
Q: Will I get advice?
A: I won’t tell you what to do – instead, I’ll help you discover what works best for you.
Trauma Therapy (Muss Rewind)
Q: Will I have to relive my trauma?
A: No. Rewind therapy allows your brain to process trauma safely without having to talk about it in detail or relive it emotionally.
Q: How does Rewind work?
A: It gently helps your mind ‘re-file’ the traumatic memory so it no longer triggers distress.
Q: How many sessions does it take?
A: Often just one or two sessions can make a significant difference.
Q: Can this help children and young people?
A: Yes – Rewind is very effective and gentle for children and teens.
