Yesterday I had the pleasure of a visit from a client I worked with a couple of year ago. Paul came to see me to give me a signed copy of his book as a thank you for being part of his journey.
Paul’s book -Humour, Heart and Hope – Life in Rhyme, is a book of poems about his journey battling ill health where he has found comfort at times of need with his new found creativity of poetry writing. Paul has such a fantastic sense of humour which not only has also helped him through difficult days but this really comes through in his poetry.
Paul has been, and is battling Parkinson’s disease and part of the proceeds for each book is being donated to Parkinson’s UK (40% I believe).
If you love poetry give this a go, you won’t be disappointed and if you know someone who is battling like Paul, perhaps this might just bring give them hope and a smile.
